The Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers (MABL) mourns the passing of the Reverend Jesse L. Jackson, Sr., a towering figure in American civil rights history and one of the most influential moral leaders of both the 20th and 21st centuries.

On February 7, 2026, the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers (MABL) Law School Pathways Program was awarded the Alexander Award by the American Bar Association (ABA) at the Titan's Gala in San Antonio, Texas. MABL's Immediate Past President Dana Mitchell and MABL Member Amanda Matchett, who both helped develop and found the Pathways Program, received the award on behalf of MABL and MABL's Law School Pathways Program.

In response to inquiries for resources within the community and how to report harm by ICE officials in Minnesota, MABL has identified the following resources to report federal agent misconduct in Minnesota.
