Kenyatta Kruetzfeldt
Student Director
Kenyatta Kruetzfeldt is a native Minnesotan and rising 2L at the University of St. Thomas School of Law. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Winona State University. During the upcoming academic year, she will serve as the Community Liaison for the Black Law Student Association and President of Aspiring Oral Advocates, a student organization focused on developing oral advocacy skills and peer mentorship.
Kenyatta was recently selected to participate in the University of St. Thomas Federal Commutations Clinic, where she will advocate on behalf of incarcerated individuals by preparing petitions for pardons with the goal of securing their release. This summer, she is working as a law clerk at Gustafson Gluek PLLC, gaining hands-on experience in complex litigation.
Her legal interests include litigation, civil rights, and advocacy for individuals who may not have access to legal representation or a platform to be heard. She is committed to using her legal education to serve her community and pursue justice.
Kenyatta is honored to join the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers Board and looks forward to working alongside fellow students and attorneys dedicated to equity, justice, and meaningful change in Minnesota’s Black community.
