In furthering its mission to support the professional development of Black lawyers, judges, and law students in Minnesota, MABL recognizes the importance of advancing the interests of all lawyers, for in advancing the professional development of all, we advance our own.

To that end, MABL is working with the Hispanic National Bar Association to promote networking and information sharing between the organizations. Members of the MABL leadership team, and other MABL members and friends are attending the HNBA’s 35th Annual Convention and gala. On October 21, members of the HNBA will join MABL members for the MABL monthly Third Thursday Happy Hour.

In addition, MABL has a commissioned representative participating in both the Minnesota State Bar Association and Hennepin County Bar Association. These alliances help to further the associations’ common interests, as well as increase our awareness of each others’ needs and opportunities.
